He gets wasted. You can actually hear a few Riffs yell "Kill Him!" while they're beating on him. That many blows to the head and neck would definetely kill someone. Also in the game they say they tell you that Cleon is dead after beating the game. You also get to see his ghost in the warriors of the night minigame.
