I was watching the film today and noticed the lack of injuries that the boys endure. For instance in the fight with the furies, cowboy is smacked a few times in the face with a baseball bat, most peoples faces would have exploded however cowboy is flawless. They really must have bones of steel.

The film wasn't meant to be completely realistic.It was supposed to give a comic vibe so i was not surprised by the lack of injuries our boys indured. Their supposed to resemble super heros....despite their lack of heroism.

michael beck even brings it up in the interviews that the injuries were minimal ,but i agree with the comic theory

At the end of the day it's an action movie. You have to kick reality out the door in order for the plot to move forward.

I thought maybe they should have at least given the Cowboy a nice black eye. Look at Swan's face after the fight with the punks. Also notice they don't get makeup on their knuckles as they beat the sh1t outta the Furies.
