We've already discussed the multiple occurances of "yeah right" in the film. I can't remember, was that a common saying in the late 70's? I was alive and kick'n back then but I don't recall that being a big phrase. Anyone know?

As a young teen in the late 70's I don't remember "yeah right" being a popular phrase either, well except when you express disbelief about something ("The Warriors is a bad film? Yeah right"). But how The Riffs use it yeah I'm in the dark.

Another, in "Detroit Rock City" (set in 1978) all the "rock" dudes call all the disco chicks "stellas," I NEVER heard that one before LOL.

I got the guys on my corridor at uni saying 'Caaaan you dig iiit?' Its just such a cool phrase.
