I was thinking about the "Baseball furies chase" and I was wondering what would've happen if the warriors weren't split up at the train station and faced the furies? (would there even be a chase?)

Obviously if the Warriors were not split up there would be no chase. As it is three Warriors wiped the Furies out so with the others it would have been a joke. I wonder if Walter Hill did not expect the popularity of the Furies. To have a full strength fight he might have chosen to make the Furies the final fight after the Warriors regroup instead of the Punks.

If the Warriors hadn't split up, they would've chased the Furies instead of the other way round.

THe Base Ball Furys of course cept they would probably have the whole group on them but uncounting the dead it would be a 7 on 9 match.

They may have run to the park for a more open space to fight, but not running away. Either way they trash the clowns from 96th Street.

I don't think the warriors would have chased the furies because all they were interested was getting back home and not picking any fights or looking for trouble.

I always thought that the baseball furies didn't really try and beat up the warriors (since most of them just stand there and then get hit) because they thought the warriors were weak (since it was like 9 vs 3).

The Furies would have stood their ground even if the Warriors were all together. Most of them can't fight but some of them looked like they could. Of course they were no match for the Warriors, especially since they fought 3 of the 4 best fighters in the Warriors.
