Bumping the thread for some updated info.
1 of my members on the worldwide page, has managed to track down the title and singer's name for the replaced soundtrack song.

The song is called "Just a fugitive" by Alan Brackett.

Thanks and credit to Anthony Richmond-Clarke for his time and research.

Complete track listing?

Post by Cochese »

Sorry folks! I forgot all about y'all

This is one of the few topics that still intrigues me. I'm amazed that somebody managed to track this song down. Are we definitive on this now? Is there a proper studio recording of this song out there? Who is this guy? Anybody know anything more about him? This is actually fascinating stuff! Well done, Anthony Richmond-Clarke!!

I believe Mr Brackett has been contacted and the search for a studio recording is on. Apparently he's done a lot of obscure session music for movies over the years.

There seems to be more than one musical Mr Brackett - are we sure we're chasing-down the right one?
