lets just pretend for a second that cyrus didnt die. maybe he did organize all the gangs and over ran the police. wouldnt the army or national gaurd just roll in and crack some skulls?

but in saying that, by the time the gangs took over they would have so much power and control they could recruit and arm so many people that they would be unstoppable. but only if they stayed united.
think about it, over 100,000 strong, they could easily recruit many more take whatever weapons from the turf they captured for themselves. eg:from gunshops.

guess thats true. if i was president at the time and that happened, i guess id gate of new york and let them have it. not out of necessity, but for my enjoyment 

What if the meeting turned into a full-scale riot? Just wondering what would happen besides the killings and the stealings. Would the gangs be "united" or would it be a free for all?

good point, if i was leading this "meeting" iwould give each gang a store so they dont fight over stuff, dig?

but if ALL of newyork joined the gangs i geuss they would just bomb the hell outta it or break the city off of the country like in Escape from New York


but you gotta remember this was supposed to be"sometime in the future" so there might not even be any president or army so the gangs could actually run the city 

good point cleon. i hadnt thoughyt of that. but didnt the creators of the warriors decide to get rid of the "sometime in the future" angle? which would leave it taking place in the late 70's.

when it says sometime in the future it means in the future after the greeks so it could be any year

You never know, throughout history guerilla tactics have proven to be quite successful. Look at Vietnam, Ahfganistan (sp?) (When the Russians went in, that is) and of course if it weren't for guerilla tactics against military superiority the USA would still be a british colony. You never know, the gangs would know the territory, where to hide, good strategic points, it would definately be close.

hmm good point prozium it would just be vietnam all over again and the army would get their butts handed to them
