I'm new around here...

Post by Clown Face Killer »

I've been a fan of The Warriors for as long as I can remember. As a kid I recall seeing the adds on TV for The Warriors. I begged and begged my parents to take me to it, but at the time I was only seven (7) and my parents weren't going to allow that. Instead, when it first came out on VHS or Beta a few years later I talked my dad into renting it. He watched it first to make sure it wasn't as bad as all the press at the time made it out to be and then I got a turn to watch it. It was love at first site!!! Lord only knows how many times I've watched it since that first time, but I would bet it's well into the 100's...

Over the years I've amassed a fair collection of The Warriors related memorabilia, posters, shirts, hats, etc. and am always looking for more... :)

I was wondering if anyone has ever seen a VHS, DVD, VCD, ect. with all of the footage included? I think it would be awesome to have a copy with all of the extra scenes added back into the film.

Peace out!

No offense taken, brutha..."Clown Face Killer" is my term for The Furies...

A SE DVD with the deleted scenes as well as a commentary sure would be nice, the main problem I see is that many of The Warriors are MIA, but even with those that are still out there, it would be a good watch,,,

I remember the first time I saw the deleted scenes...I came home late from a night out drinking and having fun and turned the TV on. I was laying there on the couch, drunk as a skunk, and The Warriors had just begun. I was like "WHAT THE F**K"??? The next morning I woke up and wasn't quite sure if it was a drunken dream or whether I had really seen what I remembered. Until finding this page, I still wasn't sure what the deal was...

yeah that was pretty much my reaction, the first time i saw it on t.v., as a matter of fact, i was pissed because it was cut out of the theatre version. i really hope they come out with that dvd!!!!

Is that before or after Roddy Piper in "They Live"....

(give or take a few words)
"I'm here to chew bubblegum, and kick some ass, and I'm all out of bubblegum."
Big Cyrus. He was gonna run the whole city...what crap that was.

Even though this isn't the topic I figured since it seems we all like D and C, Who is your favorite character from it and who has the best line?

My Fav character: Wooderson

Best Line: O Banon (Ben Affleck) You'll ready to bust some ass! It's the greatest way to introduce his character. I also like it when he asks Melvin
"What are you pickin up trash?"
