I'm Chris from Chicago. I'm 33 and I saw the Warriors in the theaters in '79 and was hooked ever since! It's one of my top five favorite movies of all time. For what it';s worth, I think that the true "innocence" of gang warfare in the city was well presented here as opposed to the "gangsta" schtick that is portrayed today. Nine guys trying to make it home fares far better than idiots hanging out of car windows and doing drive-bys with "gats".
I am happy to see the action figures coming out just for novelty, but I must admit I'm not all that jazzed to see a remake. Can't people leave well enough alone, especially MTV?? Why mar the piece of history that is the Warriors with what might prove to be a subpar offering that will no doubt be "updated" and ruined?
Anywho, you have a cool place here and hopefully I'll be welcomed into the fold..."I just want one vest...you can get another one, mannn".

Cheers!
Chris
