all these ppl keep going on about how the warriors an rouges were only 9 strong. thats crap and you know it sucka! there was only ment ta be 9 deligates invited to the meeting. and in the deleted scene cleon stated on how those 9 were picked out of the gang of 120+!

i am one of thoses people who think that there are only 9 warriors and do you know the reason?

its cause where were all the warriors when Luther came looking for the 6 warriors.but why not just get the 120+ warriors.surely 126 guys could take on 11 even if they had a gun.i don't understand it.where were all 120 warriors when luther came to coney?

It was barely dawn when they got to CI---do you stay up all night and then are up with sun on general principles??  The rest of them were still in bed.  Back then most of them were still living their folks too.  You have to have a realistic grip on this.
The rest of gang didn't know what had happened, and they didn't know WHEN or HOW or WHO would be getting back.    They may run the streets till late, but without good reason, none of them would be up early just to check things out.    MAYBE Cleon's girlfriend may be sitting by a phone, waiting, but the vast majority were still lights out.

You didn't see any other people around any place, even while the Riffs were showing up.
IF the Riffs and Rouges hadn't been on a revenge course--they wouldn't have been up in such numbers then either.  It was simply too early.

i stll find it kinda hard to believe, that none of the warriors back homw, knew what was going on.
how did all the other gang's keep up on what was going on?
the radio.
not one warrior at home listened to the radio that night?

and i'm pretty sure, there was something set up, as a "just in case" kinda thing.

especially, for what a big deal this whole thing was.
ya dont send your leader, and top 8 guys, (probably) to a big meeting like that, without some back-up plans, and instructions.

Yeah, it's like when you play chess, you attack but at the same time you have a defense set up just in case something loopy happens and the heat is put on your king early.  The imagination could ask for more back in Coney.  (but it doesn't demand anything because the ending is fine as is)

yeah ok theres some good points. but still like, when the warriors get back to coney island, they dont exactle get to sit down and relax and talk about the meeting to other warriors! there still being followed and they know it!mobile phones werent exactle common back then, an since the warriors never get to use any pay phones gives a good reason why other warriors werent aware of the situation. , also i doubt it a gang of 9 men could take over coney island!
