Ooooh, very scary looking in their stupid face paint and silly baseball gear. Sure, they are good at running, but can they fight? Bunch of namby pamby's couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper bag. They look genuinely menacing for all the camp getup, but fail to deliver when push comes to shove. A major let down. What say you?

OK, ok, so I'll probablty be slated for misspelling 'Furies' but it was one of those 'impulse posts'. That'll teach me. they are still wimps though!

I tend to agree but they at least did fight one on one. They could have jumped Ajax and Cowboy with many dudues but fought straight up.

Exactly! Instead of being a bunch of weak pansies....

A. They actually had the Warriors on the run, and chased them for a good while.

B. They didn't jump anyone, but rather took them one on one.

Ohhhh yea, and Snow's lucky he did that flank manuever otherwise the Warriors would've gotten worked!

Well, alright then, a bit of respect for the one on one thing. Can't say I blame the warriors for running but, and I quote "FOR WHAT!?!" These guys took baseball bats into one on one fights and each one of them didn't have the smarts to come out on top. Poor.

Yeah, the Furies RULE in their own neighbourhood, but everywhere else 'they're a buncha wimps'.

As much as I love them yes they came across as close to the wimpiest gang ! Still this is the movies and they had to show that amongst all the running the Warriors could kick some serious tail.

Those fuckers "dropped the ball."

You do gotta give it up for the Furies in a few ways though. As pointed out, at least they did fight one on one with Ajax, probably going through a "gang" thing by letting the one Furie take on Ajax first.

The one Furie also knocked Cowboy on his butt, so it can be said maybe at least one Furie was something of a decent bopper. Cowboy was pretty tired though from all that running (those Furies can run). But of course, the whole lot of them were taken down by the other three Warriors. They may have had some balls (like fighting one-on-one with Swan in the bat-fight) but they were definitely more about looking fierce than being fierce. Bunch of wimps!

They lived around the 90s in the Upper West Side...probably prep school boys trying to look fierce. They were probably on the track team explaining their running endurance!

Like I said then ... wimps!! Although I think I might still have run for it too ... You know I really would have loved to have seen them kick some butt, maybe even if the extra scary one (come on, you know who I'm talking about) had bopped a few Warriors or even caused some permanent damage before being taken down. It's strange that they are the thing I remember most from seeing the movie the first time, and they are still the scariest sight in the movie when they are running after the Warriors (even edging the Turnbull AC's) - I'm just so let down by their pathetic fighting ability, honourable or not ... not sure I'll ever get over this ... sob! (or should that be sob's?)

Thy should have included that one Furie in the trailer swinging the bat in a cool-looking move into the movie, that would have been great!
