I was 7. I'd never even heard of the movie until I saw clips of it on VH1's "I Love the 70s." So I rented it and have been hooked ever since

I guess I am the old man here. I was 12 when it came out and told my mom my freind and I were going to see Breaking Away but snuck into The Warriors instead.

One of my friends and my favorite cousin were in their 20's when they saw it in theaters. I think it would be cool to see the Warriors on the big screen with a tub of popcorn and a glass of Pepsi.

Yeah, yeah, I guess I am a little bit old in comparison with some of you guys, but hey, this movie came out on my day. Damn, I miss Guadalajara!

I remember hearing about gang troubles in cinema's in the US when this film was released. The film had a very bad wrap generally in the media and in the 'establishment'. I never actually got to see it until I was about 15 and instantly freaking LOVED it!! The coolest movie made by far. It is still my favourite movie of all time - it doesn't matter how many times I watch it. Now have the DVD and it's a lte night favourite. Turn down the lights, crank up the surround sound ... nothing like it for pure escapism ... did I mention that I like this film???

i was born the same year that the warriors came out 1979. The first time that i rember watching it was at 10 years old i bought the video it got stolen i bought the video againg it got stolen i bought the video yet againg it got stolen so i started renting it ... alot. Now that theres the internet i just download movies i want and i watch it almost every night on my computer.
