kill the riffs

i got a beef with the gramercy riffs. The warriors did not kill the riffs leader Cyris. The riffs DID kill the warriors leader Cleon. If there was to ever be a part 2 to the warriors it should be about the warriors taking out the biggest gang in the city the gramercy riffs. The gramercy riffs are real lucky that the warriors think the cops wasted Cleon.

That would be pretty silly to have the Warriors go against the biggest gang in the city. Not to mention, Cleon wasn't killed, according to some sources.

does anybody have a good theroy on the numbers of the warriors and number of the riffs? So cleon wasnt killed by the riffs in that beating? how do you know that?

It was never revealed if he really was or not, at least in the movie. Hence, alot of people question wether if he really did or not.

i think he was killed you can hear the riffs yelling 'get him kill him' and those were some mad brothers. That many expert martial arts experts beating him down im sure they landed a fatal blow to cleon.

You are right, Cleon was certainly killed. I am not however, in support of your observation that the Riffs should get killed because they are accountable for his death. I do believe that this fucker, low-life, not good for nothing of Luther is the one to blame, period.

I think it is just safe to say that Cleon was 'wasted', because he was either killed or knocked out.

You cannot assume Cleon was killed, but he certainly was wasted. I agree that the Warriors should seek Revenge. Warriors II - nice ring to it, dont you think?

It has been brought up a couple of times that the script indicates Cleon was killed.

I've got loads of original press/publication/move prog's from when the film came out and they all state Cleon was killed.

I stand corrected then. From watching the film I guess I always assumed that that was the case, but then again it was never 100% clear. Revenge for the Warriors it is then?

Hey it was a mistake the Riffs were lookin to find the killer of Cyrus and the Warriors were just in a bad place at the wrong time.........besides Swans the Newleader.

I think one of the countless great things about the movie is that they never had to show the "obligatory" shot of Cleon gasping his last breath.

It used to bother me a bit more seeing how The Riffs just took the word of Luther and his whipping boy that The Warriors killed Cyrus, leading The Riffs to kill Cleon. Luthor attacking Cleon was a nice convincing touch too (even if Cleon swatted Luther away like a gnat). However, given the situation, all the commotion, thousands of gang members running from the cops, Cyrus getting kiled, the whole thing, the adreniline pumping, The Riffs were ready to lash out.

The sound of The Riffs' elbows plowing into Cleon always kinda creeped me out lol.

Incidentally, any Erasure fans here? I just came from their concert tonight, they are playing ten nights at Irving Plaza in Manhattan. Fucking great!! Even if the crowd but lame. Bunch of potted plants for the most part

maybey its just me but i want to fuck up all the riffs. I dont care if there alive if possibale or wated. I just want them fucked up... alot.
