Hello Warriors fans:

I have decided to launch an online comic strip this summer, called "Armies Of The Night", it will be based on and inspired by "The Warriors" film. Ofcourse, it will take some time for the images and story to be created, so if any of you fans want to join in, you are most welcome. I think it will be a great way to see everyone's creative side on the board, so if you are interested in doing some stories or images, please let me know. I have enclosed an image I drew below, sort of a small promo ad. Enjoy.

Looks a bit ...messy but then again alot of comics looked messy half the time.

I think it looks pretty good can't wait to see the first issue.

if theres one thing i like its comics,and i think you have stumbled on a great idea.

is this gonna be set after the warriors?cos i got some ideas if it is.

Thanks Warlord, right now, the images are being created, but the storylines are varying...I think a storyline after "The Warriors" is also the way to go, but since it's open forum, some have suggested a prequel, or a different story about "The Warriors". I am sure there will be a mixture of more ideas for the strip to come. I would still like to see what you have in mind, so do send those over if you can, just make sure you add your name so it can be used in the credits area..Peace.

I like it. You even managed to make a High Hat look tough! Keep us updated.

I suggested it would be a good idea to create a Warriors comic about six months ago, but well done Nite Run, you're actually making it happen. And I like the artwork too. I reckon you should set your comic on the same night as the movie, we'd still follow the Warriors home, but this time we'd see them encounter the gangs we never saw them fight, like the High-Hats, the Savage Huns and maybe even the Dingoes! Every issue could be a different encounter with a different gang, it'd be one neverending night. How does that sound?

Well it looks like it came off a KISS poster but other than that I would say I can't wait to see it.

gotcha..I think it's cause I used the Posterize filter..which was something I was sorta going for, to make the caricatures dark, and background blurry, trying to go for that comic bookstyle...heh

Sounds great C.I. Baby, just like Warlord's idea, a sequel after "The Warriors", even if it takes place on the same day and night they got back home, is what was originally intended for the script...so it looks like that is where we are going...if you have any scripts in mind, or if anyone on this board does, send them over..THEY WILL BE USED in the strip, and FULL CREDIT will be given....peace.
