At the 96th street station after the Lizzies incident-you see Cochise,Rembrandt and Vermin waiting at the platform-then Snow and Cowboy show-Rembrandt asks where's everybody else and Snow tells them about Ajax and not knowing about Swan.

NO ONE asks about Fox-ok Swan did to Mercy but he hasn't seen any of em since so why did none of them think to ask about Fox?

he is not mentioned because walter hill was angry because the actor (thomas g waites) had left the film.

yeah I understand that but taking the film as they're all brothers and in it together-you think 1 of them woulda asked-irrespective of arguments with the actor involved.

I sincerely hope one day Waites will share his thoughts with all of us.

I got the feeling that once Rembrant had asked about "everybody"
they all figured if anyone knew anything specific--they would have volunteered it, so there wasn't any real need to name names with the question, just the answer--they answered with what ever information they had about who ever they knew. Snow didnt know about anyone else, so there was no need to mention names, till someone actually knew something.

I just saw this thread. OK Snow mentions Ajax, and Vermin comments about him with fondness, "I'll bet he went out swinging", because although Ajax was gruff, he was a loyal, tough friend who would die for his friends. Swan, while dry, shows a willingness to do whatever it takes for the Warriors. Even cowboy yells "What about Vermin and Cochise?" right before he reaches the first step heading out of the station to meet the Furies.(just discovered that)

Interesting points. They do get over the disappearance of Fox pretty easily. I'll have to investigate this during my weekly viewing. Was there no other opportunity to mention the Fox? We never see them discussing who it was who actually shot Cyrus, but it can be assumed that sometime during the subway ride, off camera, Fox tells them all what he saw. So was there a similar opportunity for them to discuss Fox that we don't see?

The Warriors indeed had more pressing issues at hand. There would be plenty of time to mourn their fallen comrades once they got back to C.I.

I thought about this too.  Gosh I can't blieve Walter had so much "hate" towards Fox that he went to that extreme.

Well, actually Ranchgal, makes a good point.  I am sure they all did worry about the Fox, but being that no one knew anything for sure about him, there was no reason to speak on the subject, until they knew for sure.  In fact they probably wanted to avoid the worst case scenario for fox, they didn't want to worry themselves even more.

I rekon it would have been the same with the situation with Ajax. The only difference was that Cowboy and Vermin new what happened. In foxs case they all knew that the plan was to meet at Union Station for the last train change to get back home, they all just accepted that something had happened, as with Cleon as well.

Well also its kind of like a acceptance you know he either died or was busted there was nothing The Warriors could do.

i have never heard that line from cowboy before,will have to have a little listen see if i can hear it!

Yeah I agree quite childish of Walter Hill I think.
