Does anyone out there think it would be a good idea to have a leader and a war chief for each of the different ranks!

It's Gareth's site so i think he will let people know by way of personal message if more help is needed.

All i do is help with the running of the forum and dealing with people who break the rules and general queries.

I think things work o.k as they are? That's what i think but, people can say otherwise as it's not upto me.

I dont want to cause any trouble but I read a forum and it said they may be more moderators and I thought that this was a good idea.

You're allowed your views.

It a free forum so you can say what you want as long as you stick to the rules.

I think when the forum gets a lot more members then maybe Gareth may look at recruiting others.

But as i've said before if anyone has any problems with the way i do things they can send me a pm as i know i'm not perfect and have got a bit ratty with a couple of members once or twice.

i do not understand this at all....why have a mod. for each rank???

it's not like you're locked into that rank for a certain amount of time. 10 posts and you've changed your rank-----this sometimes happens in 1 day!!! it just doesn't make any sense...

i think jamie and gareth are doing a fine job of keeping up the forum. i see no reason why there should be 20 mods (or whatever) to make sure people follow the rules.

i might be able to understand having 3 or 4 mods if there were a 24/7 chat area on the website. then they would be needed to control what was being said, but just to keep track of the posts here, it seems to me that things are under control. i never got the impression from talking to jamie, that there's too much work for him to do here and he needs help.

i think it's very strange that a brand new member, is requesting these extra mods. nothing against you dark savay, i don't even know you, but i would hope that you would be a member for awhile and see how things are run before campaigning to change the way the forum operates.

i think that this is all about ego and power, and not really about 'helping' out! no offense to anyone--that's just the way i see it!! 8)

Ok OK, maybe it is a bit extreme havin loads of moderators,
But instead of having moderators they should still have a leader and a war chief for each rank that would still be quite a cool feature.

ya it would but ranks change very often as all u need is 10 posts. if thre was a leader for every rank they would leave there gang in like 3 days

well i havent been here long. but things seem to work great the way they are. i mean im sure theres a few people here who should hold some kinda stsus. but im sure they already do in everyones eyes.....it was said before, but ill say it anyway. if it aint broke. dont fix it..

OK, now explain this to me--how would this be a cool feature? how would it be used to better the forum? what exactly would these mods do? would they have a special job to do? i'm sorry, but i just don't understand!!!

It would be quite impractical since there is no way of giving moderator privilidges to individual ranks. It's easier the way things are currently set up and it's working fine. This is heading the way of the RPG ...

I think everything is fine the way it is. If Gareth needs more mods, he can always ask someone who has been around for a long enough time to know how to help out. This mod for every rank is idiotic and makes no sense at all.

Why do you keep insesting on it?

ya i agree, it wouldnt really make the site any better and maybe even make it a little worse and thats the last thing i want. the only way there could be more moderators is if there was an RPG and that every gang had a moderator to control the gang but every time we try an RPG it screws up.
