Tape on Bat

So did the original Yellow Fury have tape around the top of their bat?? and did both the red and yellow fury have white handles??? (See attached URL)

Different bats?

One other question.....does this yellow fury have yellow shoes???

all of those pics are from early on in the production of the figures. Nothing had been finalized at that point...

I just hate the look of the bats, there way to big and silly looking.
