On the Mezco site it said something about how clamshell packaging allows you to open it up without damaging the box. is this at all possible? Because I'm not too keen on buying a whole other set.

i'm not sure where you saw that... Clamshell packaging is often referred to as "Collector Friendly" because there's no card-backs to damage, not because they can be opened and resealed... i don't know of any clamshell packaging that can...

Well I actually just opened the four I have (Swan, Cleon, Cochise, Luther) and have them displayed now in my room. And I have to tell you....it's awesome. I realized that I'll never sell these things, and it's like having a car and not driving it. But it's totally worth it.
I'll drop by my local Suncoast tomorrow to see if they have a Fury or two.
Can't wait to open up Ajax just so I can put him in that fighting stance he does right before he bops the Furies' leader.

I bought the Furies figures just the other day, but I'll leave them in the box.

If you get a blue fury, definitely leave that in the box since they are a limited edition of about 200, and maybe keep the Ajax one wrapped too.
The original 5 figures will probably be quite common.

Hey Lizzy. Suncoast is a DVD and video store. They also sell lots of movie themed products. They are found mainly in malls. I'm pretty sure there are some in northern CA.

204 were sold to the public. 1 was used as a display piece at the cons, but that one resides on my desk now
