Nice find. It confirms my opinion that the bottom hem line at the back is curved and not a straight horizontal line like the replica vests on ebay (I compared it by hanging up my mondotees vest in the same position and it looks a diiferent shape to the one in this pic. Mondotees vests arn't as stiff as the A1 type).

I think after 30 years the dye they used to darken the vest has comeout and it looks like it's nearly back to it's original colour in most places.

I'm not familiar with Julien's Auctions, but it's interesting that it wanted a starting bid of $3000, was bid up to $3250, yet remains listed as unsold

perhaps they have a "Reserve" that doesn't show...

i might buy this i have $2,000 right now and im about to sell my car for $2,000 but i really need all of the money but i mean come on its Rembrandts vest..........

This is still on the GOLDEN CLOSET site as well. On a side note, this didn't sell in the PROFILES IN HISTORY auction with the COCHISE outfit (which did sell). I think they are looking for $6,000.00 the very least. I don't think we got confirmation, did anyone here bid the $3,250.00?

i tried to put a $3,500 bid on it and the shit didnt even go through im really pissed off now, this money is burning a hole in my pocket and im gonna use a cup of water to put it out
