I think the 1st vest looks really good if you remove the TAN lining under the piping. The ROCKER looks close to the SCREEN WORN one on eBay.

2nd one is an A1 Vest.

I've got the same rocker, but replaced the warbird with the CCWizards version

4NIK, that vest looks great. You ever think about removing the TAN lining under the piping? Seeing how you "vintaged" it, the color underneath should look spot on to the screen worn.

Thanks

I'm going to try one last thing, once the weather gets nicer

I got a bottle of nasty old used oil from a car parts place that i'm going to rub into the lining to see what that does

i once spilled a bit of tea tree oil on my leather wallabies, it stained them this darker hue which completely ruined it. you might want to give it a test.

Blue Fury: Yes, those patches are still availible on ebay, but from a different seller. I've not seen the warbird/ rocker combo for sale seperatly though. They come as a set with the Rogues Patch.

Hey, ye i found the patch set on ebay, is the warbird in the set the same as 4niks patch? Its a thicker black outline? How would i go about removing the old patch, would it be ironed on?

I've not removed any patches on mine, but they are stitched on. The ccWizard/ebay patches are a bigger size, so they don't fit in the same place as your old patch. Stitch holes will be visible, but I believe 4nik8 got around that problem by rubbing oil into the vest, making the holes less visible.

if so, that looks to be the same as mine

use the warbird but not the rocker

for $25 measly bucks, i had the old patch removed, and the new sewn into place, by a tailor that works on leather

Thanks mate,
I will wait and see when i get the vest, if it looks alright i will leave it as it is, dont want to ruin it, might try and change the color on the tan lining though.
