Re: Original Warbird
Looks legit. Think she might have trouble selling it at that price though, given there's no rocker with it.
The last movie patch that was on ebay, went for 2 hundred dollars. That was Rogues patch.
This is a decent quality image for someone in the patch business to produce replicas. We know there's a couple from ebay who check (and steal) from these boards.

Without a Certificate of Authenticity, that is too much.

Re: Original Warbird
With all of the pics we have, this looks legit. The listing ended and they have re-listed. In this economy, that is too high even for a "collector" (which is what they repeat about 100 times in the description). They have taken probably one if the worst reproductions on eBay and put it next to theirs. They are really trying to sell it. I could see $2,500 + $16 shipping(which is robbery. They are making another $12 on shipping) for BOTH patches but for the war-bird alone, I could see about $800-$875 being fair.
I would like to see all the CONCLAVE patches show up some day. The sale of this patch WILL set the presedent for the prices of those tho.

Re: Original Warbird
Thats one of the old warriorcleon/stillatlizzies repro patches which he always claimed was copied from an original set owned by Larry Gordon. Size was a close match and the design doesn't look that far off when you compare the 2.
A different seller has been selling identical ones recently in the UK. I managed to pick 3 up from the seller for 99 pence each. I messaged her and she says she has no connection or heard of the afor mentioned warriorcleon, so I wonder if the warbird design is floating around on an embroidery pattern site or something? I compared the 2 repro patches from both sellers and they are 100% identical to each other.

Re: Original Warbird
So 9th are you saying this was not taken from an actual vest and is a vintaged STILL@LIZZIES patch? Would suck if it was. Someone just paid $400 for it. Can you post pics of all the patches you are referring to??Ninth Delegate wrote:Thats one of the old warriorcleon/stillatlizzies repro patches which he always claimed was copied from an original set owned by Larry Gordon. Re: Original Warbird
That was refering to one of the photos the seller used the second time he listed the item for auction. He had an original and a repro side by side. The repro was a warriorcleon/stillatlizzies patch.
The patch that's just sold for $400 was/is legit.
