Agreed Harley...it makes sense to do LA and have a Latino effect for modern times ....however, subways and the edge of NYC will be missed....the names of the Gangs may not be the same at all........

the remake will be similar to the original in name only is what I am sensing....

Yeah, Laurence Fishburn or Samual L. Jackson would be good. IMO.

Well what do you expect from MTV .....I'm just glad Ben stiller and Owen Wilson ain't in it!! but yeah getting rappers and basketball players is indeed a sad idea.

unbelievable! this is an ny movie! i cant believe they would set the warriors remake in la, besides ny is the home of gangs!

I think Lucas Black, (Friday Night Lights) would make an excellent gang leader, if they could get him to drop some of his southern accent. he has the presence to be menacing/intense, and intelligent at the same time.
