Who is gonna play Luther?

Considering the apparent quality of this film, the "norm" set by remakes, and the fact that it seems to be aimed at the MTV audience, he will probably be played by a black rapper with one of those imbecilic rap names - "Piff Granny", "He Roolz", or however these people call themselves.

I only noticed not long ago that the guy that played Luther is in Commando with Arnold Schwarzenegger. He is the guy who gets thrown off the cliff by Arnie.

I Have one thing to say if they are puttin in a star rapper there is only one to put in
Snoop Dogg the reason is cause he seems to be the only who can probably fit Luther and or The Dj in a way. With his voice he would probably make the role for the DJ

Yep Snow, Luther's name is Sully in Comando. I love the part in the airport when he calls Rae Dawn Chong a wh*re. Makes me laugh all the time.

From the Look interview---I do NOT think WH will have any thing to do with the remake.
He more or less wished them good luck, but he is NOT interested in being involved with anything to do with the remake.

i think alex winters should play luther in the remake
he was played the part that wasnt keanu reeves in bill and ted and he was in the lost boys and he looks pretty similar to the original
and he needs a good role

Oh, the cast is quite obvious...
1: Black rapper of the month #1
2: Black rapper of the month #2
3: Black rapper of the month #3
4: "Tough" female rapper.
5: "Tough" female rapper #2.
6: White rapper (I suppose there are some, though I would not know, nor do I want to).
7: The Latino female from "Blow", whatever her name was.
8: Hayden Christensen, Freddie Prinze, Elijah Wooden or John("ny") Depp as the protagonist.

MR.VESS...Whats with all the "BLACK" rapper talk? if a rapper does get a role in the remake then so what, every rapper is not black. nor is there a need to refer to them twice in one subject. Most likly a few rappers will be cast as various gang members(not just the warriors) so will that be wrong? Alot of rappers out there say good things about the movie every chance they get so why not have some of them in the movie?

I wish people would stop going on about Black, White etc. That has nothing to do with The Warriors and is not mentioned once in the film.

The reason i don't want rappers is: Assault on Precint 13 remake. What a load or rubbish. Now it wasn't just the rappersbut the whole cast of major hollywood stars.

Give us no-namers and it may work.
