I am looking forward to seeing how the remake will turn out. As I have read, the only name that is kept intact from the orginal is Cyrus, so it will be interesting to see if the newly named characters have different personalities to the original warriors. However, as seen with many films in the past, remakes seem to be given so much hype only to see them fail at the box office. Im not saying that this remake will fail, but it may have been a better idea to do a prequel or a sequel. The prequel, though, I imagine would be based on the happenings in the game that you play before you get to the meeting, and also the bonus levels in the game where you find out how certain Warriors joined the gang. If it was a sequel, I predict it would be very cool. We could be treated to a series of new gangs and intense fight scenes, brand new Warriors. But what would the storyline of the sequel be? A feud with the Gramercy Riffs? Maybe it would be revealed that Masai had been assaulted near to death until the Riffs saved him, and at the end it turns out to be Swan or someone and The Warriors turn out to be the new villainous gang after The Rogues. Maybe it would be the other way around? Perhaps The Warriors decide to avenge the death of Cleon from the original and go after the Riffs but bump into some brand new gangs newly put on the Riffs network on the way. Or perhaps the spirit of Cleon possesses Masai and sends him to destroy The Warriors because Cleon blames his death on the poor amount of protectiong from his Warriors. I may have just given a lecture on the possibilities of sequels and prequels, but maybe this will get you thinking of the possibilities. Maybe this will get the film industry thinking of the possibilities. So I have given a poll for you to vote on. Should there be a prequel or a sequel. Wether there will be either remains to be told. But just vote for the fun of it

A prequel would be cool but i voted for a sequel. Alot of things were left open at the end of the movie that i would like to the results of. Here are a few:

Swann talked about possibly leaving.........did he???

Did he take Mercy with him??? or did he just get what he wanted and throw her in the street....LOL.

How much hard time did Ajax get???

Did Masai follow in Cyrus's footsteps and try to unite all the gangs???

There are alot more but i wont bore you with them.

prequels rarely if ever worked. Looked at the Star Wars prequel. It was ok by itself but the past should have more furture looking things than the future.
