I'm not sure if its a lie or not. I hope that it is, but then what else could they add to make it worse? These stupid Hollywood-idiots have run out their own ideas, so they have to go take other peoples ideas and ruin them. I get so mad at these stupid people I want to kill them. I think they need to be stopped...the Warriors is a classic movie! you can't just walk in and say "hey I want to make a remake of the Warriors"...seriously once its classic it stays classic...its like walking in the offices of Paramount and deciding to make a remake of The Godfather in Kansas or even Casablanca on the moon!!!!  Its the same thing with The Warriors...why would you even want to ruin such a great movie and make some stupid remake...its bulls***...making a movie in New York City about gangs actually goes along with it...New York City is popularly known for it...and when they made The Warriors they were right on point...because you have subways and probably more police officers...but whats in L.A. (no offense to those who live there) rich people...beaches...and some dangerous gangs...but its certainly not the same...if this guy Tony Scott can think he can get away with it then he must be smoking something in Hollywood...whats it gonna be...Ajax the secretly gay one in the group? or Swan the hippie? This remake is a disgusting idea to nature and I hope this movie doesn't ruin the rep of the 1979 version but rather ruin its own...I won't be surprised if it earns one star...if it does ruin the classic version then we all need to go Tony Scott's house and burn his house to the ground so his house is left in filth similar to that movie he is trying too hard to re-make LOL

the way i see it is they are doing the same thing they do with music  they find someone elses song or idea and ruin it ....
example when celion dion ( i belive it was) did ac/dc's you shook me
or
when mariah carrey did one of def leapards songs...(i cant recall the name right now...sorry if i spelled the names wrong).

I read the LatinoReview that some posted up and I'm glad "el mayimbe" agrees its a bad idea to make a re-make...a 10th Warrior named Little Inch? Transexual Lizzies? I feel an asthma attack coming along...and I don't even have asthma!!!

Most likely the remake will die at the box office, then quickly be forgotten about, and fans like us will stick to the original and best Warriors movie. The pointless remakes of classics like Phsyco and Get Carter didn't ruin the originals, so I don't think we have much to worry about.

Aside from the name, and the gang theme, there doesn't seem to be any similarities between the Warriors and the rubbish Tony Scott is gonna throw at us. I think him and the marketing guys just decided to take the name to make us pay attention to what sounds like "Oh no, not another bloody LA hiphop gangsta homeboy movie".

HE GETS WASTED?!?! is that in the review? I don't remember that part...but okay thats a little inch of stupidity...or maybe a little inch of a waste of time!!!  What is wrong with Tony Scott coming along and thinking he can make a better movie than that of the 1979 version of The Warriors?  1979 was an original...2008 you know they're going to add some technology in the movie...add a person who is animated or something like that...something that doesn't look original...and originality is so much better than something you've seen or heard many times from different sources...I won't be surprised if this version is a flop...what was Tony Scott trying to accomplish in trying to do this movie again and not call it a remake?    There isn't a point to do this classic movie again whether its a remake or a sequel...since its a classic it should be left alone...it has a good reputation now then it must've had when it first came out...even after 27 years its getting alot of attention with the video game (which I've heard alot of good reviews from different resources) and the director's cut out there...its good to see that even those who weren't even alive back then (like me) actually know The Warriors...and for that it should be respected for something it is rather than for something that it isn't...and since it is respected it should be left alone
