This reminds me of that episode of The Andy Grifeth Show where Opy gets hit by a girl and cant do anything about it. Now I have been in tap fights, you still hit pretty hard with your fists but not a real fight. A guy can hit back in fake fights because its just for fun. When your acullay in a real fight no honset guy would hit you back. Its wrong for him to hit back but it is just as wrong to hit him in the first place. Thats just a dishonest cheap shot. The only time they can hit back is when your in a real bad fight. One that ussaly happens on a school yard or somthing where a teacher rips you away before you kill eachother.(which ive been in by the way) The only girl warrior I would be willing to see would be one shone in the first or last credits as mentioned above.

I've got to disagree with everyone else. By all means, theres nothing wrong with a female warrior. I've also got a problem with the whole "women shouldn't be fighting" attitude the rest of the board has. Women are just as much male's equals, and should be given the same opportunities.

I'm sorry but i have to disagree with you here. By no means am i sexist or think that women should only do certain things, but fighting and strength wise men and women are not equal. Sure a woman can train and be stronger than a guy but naturally men have a higher percentage of muscle and lower of fat than women. Its just the way we were born and men naturally have an advantage over women when it comes to strength.

Anyway i dont think a woman should be in the warriors because it just doesnt seem plausible.

ok here's where i am gonna catch flack from the female member's but here goes, i do not want a chick warrior!! sorry, but i am so tired of watching guy's get beat up by girl's. i mean i understand why after 1000 or so years of abuse. but still, i don't fight with girls and any half a man don't either! i have a simple i don't hit u, u don't hit me philosophy. but, i don't care how many kickboxing classes j lo takes, she aint kickin my a** neither is any other chick.  sorry ladies. i'm kinda old fashioned i still like women that are just that women, not women trying to be men. do women like men that are trying to be women? and not as just shopping buddies! lol

Obviously u guys have never taken a martial art! When I was in Tae Kwon Do I remember some of those chicks good brawl and they barely had any muscle I never got beat but I saw some things. I remember a chick kicked this dude in the chest and knocked him into the air! Before he hit the ground she kicked him in the nuts like 3 times! :badgrin: It made him cry and all us dudes wore our cups after that!

I totaly agree with you. You prove a good point. Not to be sexist at all because i dont mean women are below men. It just gets annoying to see the girl in The Chronicles of Riddick acting liek shes the number one assasin in this universe And like u said, it would be cool to see a gurl who can fight. I dont really want a female warrior. In fact, iv never even really liked the charachter of Mercy. I feel that a woman/love intrest distracts from the aspect of whats at stake and the brotherhood between these guys.

And also, I hate how women are portrayed in these types of movies. Becuase they want to be overly PC and not accused of making a general statement against woman by giving her unattractive qualities, thy make her everything. Every imaginable skill she excells at.  Unlike her male counterparts who each have certain skills.
In action movies movies the woman usually ends up being a harvard grad with a genius level IQ that posesses high level skills in hacking, electronics, history, chemistry, math, biology, and engineering. On top of that she is a supreme level fighter with black belt level reflexes and skills in various martial arts and somehow unrealisticly takes down men twice her size. She also knows how to use all diffrent kinds of weapons on a master level. But on top of that she is an extremely beutiful woman who is some kind of sex godess.

A female Warrior????? Well I can see the point, over time that as part of gangs as a whole that females would have some kind of role in the "business" end but not as soldiers. Even if they had females as soldiers in the gang they would have NEVER been picked to attend the conclave, kinda like how no lady with half of a brain would ever go barhopping alone.  *********Sorry for not being PC but  ladies are still ladies and men are still men********** I'll leave the fighting to SHM  8)

i cant agree with u since i am tired of girls trying to be guys no offense to ladies i like the equality idea im with it but not in mai favorite movie. warriors are warriors not warriorettes that someone said before me and its true a girl warrior not a good idea im not a feminst nor a sexist im a regular joe, ps only girls i wanna to see in this remake is a mercy and the lizzies also those prom ppl lol

I know this is an old topic, but like the saying goes, SEARCH! Anyways, I've been looking for a topic like this not to start a war, but because I feel exactly the same way as SHM. There SHOULD NOT BE GIRL WARRIORS! I'm sick and tired of these new movies like Ultra-Violet. (For the record I've never seen this movie but I'm just giving an example of the, pardon the expression, women-warrior stuff.) And even though my nick-name aroung the house is Ajax, or Heavy Muscle, I'm not feminest. When I first saw Mercy I though, Oh great. And then when she followed them I wasn't happy. But when Ajax grabbed her I thought Oh good now you can kill her! But even though I got that first impression I have to say I like her character now, and I think she goes with Swan. And I hate in action flics, when the guys says "wait here." And then the girl waites for a while then goes out in the middle of everything and ruins it all. And the love interests! Oh they're the worst in action movies! I think that women have their place. And thats not in the middle of Iraq, or the one supporting the family, or the ones controlling the husbands. OR the ones soldiering for the gang! If there was a girl warrior she would have to be feminin, and like someone else said, the medic. Not the Heavy Muscle! I don't let people walk over me, and I'll fight for what I know is right. And I'll fight for weaker people. But I do know my place.
