Will the remake's story be anything similar to the original?

Because if the Warriors end up fighting the Punks then they should have the Punks' leader look like the white guy on skates in that "Crunk Muzik" video which featuired warriors-type stuff. In fact I think that the remake should distinguish itself from the original by being gritty instead of flashy. Probably won't happen, but damn, the Punks' leader looked awesome in that video.

Not a fan of rap, but hey. Or like in the beginning of the music video for "the leaving song part one" by AFI there is a guy who is pulling a bag or something over his head and it has eyeholes and looks cool. I think they should stick with something like that for a motif for a gang.

This is Remake so The Only thing I can say is Expect what is Expected.

The Crunk Music vid seemed more funny than a real attempt at capturing scences from the warriors movie so i dont know if that would be a good idea...and the guy who said luther's famous line sounded english....sad

Expect the story to be loosely based on the original. There will be a gang meeting at which someone of importance will be killed and the Warriors will be wrongly accused. They will then spend the remainder of the movie trying to get back to their own turf.

As far as all these people saying "So and So should play Ajax", and "Will the new Furies have painted faces" ect. - I think you're gonna be mighty dissappointed.

Look at this remake as something that was based on the original.

Expect different gangs, different characters, different locations.
