So basically, its took him 5 years and all he's managed to come up with is using real gangs set in L.A.  Oh, and lets not forget the big meeting on the bridge.  I want a job on his warriors creative team because it sounds like they're getting paid to sit around and do nothing.

Why not make The Cyrus, an ex junior yakuza member, unites all the street gangs and set the damn thing in Tokyo.  Use Local gangs, martial arts clubs and B Boy teams.
See what I did there Tony Scott?  In 30 seconds, Ive Come up with more than what you have in 5 years.  Wheres my cheque?

although i really dislike tony scott, i will probably feel that i have to go see this in the theaters.

i think tony's being damm rite disrespectful to walter hill plus how can they say the warriors and all the other gangs just look lk thier wearin haloween costumes, if i saw tony scott i wud "who do you think you are sayin that walter hill isnt a genius" i know he never said that but he's sorta implying it but i wud still lk to see it to see if its all its cracked out to be!!

i read his take on the original movie i found it insulting as saying actors halloween costumes in new york at that time gangs were about colors and showing off those colors with pride so the movie was correct in that manner.
Walter hill was telling a story at 11 years old in 79 it was facinating seing that movie because you had to read about in the paper there wasent a million media outlets the characters the journey they went through.

What Tony scott is making (from what i read on the internet) is gang documentary blended into a movie Walter hill made a fictional cult classic with characters and good actors that you bonded with if your making a movie not a documentary real people gang members or not dont make good actors like the old saying if was easy everybody would do it.

The Warriors should never be remaid it is a timeless classic its not going to ever get a million awards but it has the best reward of all a time less cult classic with a growing fan base that will live forever.
