Hi guys, I've been asked to relay a message from the executive producer (Skip Chaisson) of the new Warriors movie, which I received in my e-mail box this morning.
This is a great site, it is a pleasure to see so many devoted members - please let your people know that all involved with this film are HUGE fans and extremely respect the original

That is interesting. However, we'll just have to wait and see just how respectful they are to the original. I still have my doubts.

I'm very optimistic and i think it's great to let us all know when you consider that millions are going into the film.

They didn't have to let us know!

Paul WS Anderson "is a HUGE fan of Alien, and respects the original".

Uwe Boll "is a huge fan of games, and respects the originals".

Is a pattern emerging yet?

i dont have many fears of this movie sucking... especially now that i know that they are reading fans oppinions, meaning they obviously want to please us and not just make opening weekend cash

All I want is for the movie to be good. Not much to ask for.

If they make it gritty and realistic and too MTV music video-like, and as long as there are no dumbasses like Ashton Kutcher in it, I'll be happy :)

I have my doubts too but as long as it has good fighting (Not just special effects like in the matrix fighting) And lots of action and heart pounding reviews then I will be ok with it.

Admit it, in your heart you know the remake will suck. When's the last time a remake was any good? (I'll tell you when: 1982! Figure out the title yourselves  )

I think the reference is to John Carpenter's The Thing.
