First off im against a remake! Because I hate it when they take a classic, remake it and screw it up with all kinds of special effects, and gore!
Writers today dont have talent,so they remake someone elses work! If its going to have any chance at all,They need to bring back some of the original Warriors! Not as gang members,Because at 50 + years old you would think they outgrew it! And it would look stupid! How about this?
Swann and Mercy are now married, Swann Is a blue collar type, They have kids as well, One gets hooked up with a gang, tags along to the big meeting. Then gets caught up in what Follows. Swann needs to help his kid! So he looks up his old buddies!
Something like that may work!

I don't see the point of everyone saying 'This is MY idea of how the sequel should go'. Remember, this isn't even a sequel, right? It's just a remake of the original (or at least that's what I gather), updated for a 'modern' audience.

Besides, I don't want to see Swan and co. as adults. They've been immortalised as the gangland youths they were, and I'd prefer to speculate how they turned out. Showing their futures would take away from the mystery of the original.

This plot might work.
