As I've said before, in other remake threads, The Amityville Horror was the worst remake ever. What they did to that poor man is a crime.

At least wait until he's dead if your going to portray him in such an unfavorable way.

I never liked the Frankenstein remake with Robert DeNiro they made the conflict between Frankenstein and his monster too civilized , I will always like the original.

i always thought that the new Dawn of the Dead movie kinda sucked.
for a start.

Zombies being able to run ruined everything.

But that part where the chick was accidently killed with a chainsaw, classic.

movie remakes...

Post by LizzyBorden »

The worst remake of any movie ever made was that of the cult-classic "The Night of the Living Dead"...what was Tom Savini thinking...

The remake of DOTD was awesome...Zombies able to run...totally cool...this is the movie Romero wished he'd made...Land of the Dead...still could't get it right...

I've got 4 Amityville DVDs! I've not seen the remake and have no plans to unless it costs me nothing. Amityville II was the best in my opinion.
The one and only!

WORST REMAKE POLL

I've just watched Hollywoods version of The Italian Job and must say it is an insult to the classic British orginal. The most laughable aspect is that in the Hollywood version it only has about 5 mins worth of the mini's in action where the who appeal of the orginal was the numerous car scenes and extended chase thoughout the city.

I understand The Italian Job was not strictly a remake the Hollywood movie it was a joke when compared to the orginal. This makes me VERY concerned at what the Warroirs remake be like. Understaning that MTV is basically just using (stealing) the name "the Warriors" are we going to see modern version without fighting. This would be imaginable but who would have fought they could make the Italian Job without the car chases.

Whatever MTV do with there version of the Warriors I am at least grateful that it will bring a new generation to the attention of the classic orginal and I'm also grateful that it has prompted the release of a DVD with special features.

The new Rollerball has to be one of the worst. The only good remake i've seen is Assault on precint 13. Doesn't try to stay too true to original but isn't too far off either.

The remake will probably be the exact opposite of what thediceman said. Most likely it will be nonstop action that takes itself WAY too seriously. Prepare to be numbed by the fight scenes.

TCM REMAKE BLOWS! how could they show leatherface's real face? and that lame backstory about they were heading to a lynyrd skynyrd concert. how are we s'posed to believe the movie is based on a true story if it gets remade and the details change?!
