.... so why don't all us watch 1979 The Warriors, when it'll be played the new one... 4 istance: 1st day it'll be played in USA we could watch 1979 movie being, at the same time, linked to the site-shoutbox!
It'll be our way of saying NOOOOOO

to the new movie!!! 8)

normally id say "get a life" but im always goin to be nice to people on this forum im being a good boy, so much about the new movie has been discussed, and im sure ive sed sumthing in that thread before check this thread out some stuff here. http://warriorsmovie.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=283.0

now ill say this again for millionth time, why try and stop it you lot wont make a difference they will make it no matter what. and we all know the 1979 cult classic will always be a 1979 cult classic the best, that film is the reason we r all on the forum.
so stop winging about the new movie and seriously enjoy it when it comes out, this new movie doesnt alter the original doesnt change a thing. so let it go.i personally cant wait to see it although originals cant be beaten why cant we still enjoy a remake.
sorry for blabbing on but people like you really annoy me wasting your time like this, anyone has a problem with anything ive said feel free to tell me if im wrong but i know im right.

Hey man, I'm surely apologize cause this thread has already been discussed. It was an oversight, I could have checked it before! I think that's my 1st time, and anyway my link is different than the one posted by Cyrus (guest) on november 18 2004. I was simply glad 4 finding out another petition, so I apologize again to the site. But stop it now man!!!

VERY VERY NICE! Swan, you don't really have to worry about it. There's always a division in this forum between people who favor the original and hate the remake, and people who favor the original and want the remake. And I am the first because I HATE the remake. Because it's just ruining my favorite movie!

Problem is, I don't think we as pedestrians on the street can do anything about it. And, there hasn't been any word on it since May this year. So hopefully the whole thing has just gone down the toilet.

But if I was to give my full opinion on the remake, I would get banned. :lol:

But I'm a true Warriors fan, and I will not even DARE give the remake a chance.

whats wrong with you ppl lol!!!! come on read what ive said so i dont have to copy and paste it again, how does a remake ruin a classic, i have the DVD of the warriors 1979 in my DVD cupboard, when/if the remake comes out i will always have that DVD it wont magically transform into the remake, what im saying is the 1979 will always be the 1979 version even if they dont do a remake or make 5 of them.

petitions dont do a thing if you feel that about the remake. hollywood dusnt care what a group of people on a forum say. i dont see why people are against if you will only like the original then thats fine its understandable. but the new movie will not change the 1979 version, its just in a way another gang movie but wi similar storyline thats all,

i mean come on lads they are going to have different gangs and its in a different city think of it as another version of it and not a remake. why cant people enjoy watching something new and appreciate other than winge about it.

thye 1979 version will always be original and a cult classic i love the movie, but whats wrong with seeing something new. just let the petition go i aint having a dig at anyone just think you should let it go and give the remake a chance like i said before think of it as another version.

The problem is that regardless of what we say on a forum, not matter how many of us say it, they'll probably still go ahead and make the movie. We don't represent the whole viewing public of Britain, America and Europe and you will always get people who will want to see a movie like that. People who were too young to know what the original was.

(Technically I'm too young but my Dad has good taste)

Well If they ruin it I won't be pleased at Tony Scott, I doubt he will really have the crips and bloods together just for this one movie like he said that is a pretty hard thing to do, and he won't make it anything like the original, now i know for one i'm gonna be watching the remake out of intrest but i doubt i'll like it.

I doubt i'll like it....I have a real thing against MTV and that general trend of white rapping they have created...

It's made scottish people think they can rap...and believe me, they can't!!
