for me it was the end of Sleepaway Camp, the first horror movie where the end truly shocked me.

Although the original Star Wars gets a vote from me since I am an unashamed Star Wars geek, I also have to give props to Charleton Heston's Planet of the Apes and most recently, The Departed.  I mean, did anyone see DiCaprio's character getting it like that in the elevator, out of nowhere?

My favorite movie ending was when The Predator and Arnold sharwzenegger were fighting. I alos ejoyed it when Danny Glover took on the predator in the second movie.

The Godfather movies have awesome endings. I think the third one is strongest though.

The ending for Dog Day Afternoon is good as well.

This is just one of my picks for the best endings: Saturday Night Fever...when Tony (John Travolta) realizes that he needs to change his lifestyle...and the way he sees women...and it becomes even more teary-eyed when the music comes on (How deep is your love)...and they hug...oops did I ruin it?!

not too fond of Stayin Alive...i thought the ending was lame!!!

Anyway my 1st choice, well apart from The Warriors ending ...

The GodFather Part III... Palermo's Theatre "Massimo", the staircase, maybe the best Al Pacino performance!!! 8)
You know, I saw that scene making of... I'm from Palermo, I was 14, so... WOW!!! Even if you could see that making very afar off!!!
Rocky 2, and to me this movie is also the best of all Rocky franchise!!! 8)
