Best 'Centurion' Film

I probably would have picked Centurion too. Spartacus is an awesome film. I have a feeling some people will disagree with me but I HATED 300. There, I said it.

This topic reminds me of a line from airplane; "Do you like gladiator films?"

Its hard to pick one from a quality selection, but i'll have to go with Gladiator.  The battle against the norse men was gritty and didnt glamourize combat (IMO).  A great old school cast with richard harris and oliver reed (his final film performance which was a respectable and fitting end to a talented actor).

I like the fact that Russel crowes charecter is dead at the beggining of the film and the rest of the movie is his life flashing before his eyes.

Hi mate, my vote is Troy!!!

Greek Mythology (and Roman too) is too cool, I mean those guys faced REAL fights and "Iliade" (where Troy episode is from), "Odissey" and "Eneide" are AWESOME!!!
I think the scene where Achille matches Hector (do u rem, when he cries out "Hector, Hector... Hector...", showing his almost "possessed" face......., well is REALLY AWEEEEEEEEESOME!!!) is one of the best all movies scene!!!
I can guarantee that movie's "FEEL" is almost the same "Iliade-The Book"'s "FEEL"...
... yeah excellent work!!! 8)

You know I liked Spartacus, I just wished they would of used anothe actor, more rugged, the same with Troy, Pitt is too much of a pretty boy to act in those films.

I really liked 300 , its one of my favourite films. I just love the kind of animation style behind it and the fight scenes are unreal!

Well, about Pitt as Achille, indeed I like his performance (and mostly durng the scene I first posted... when he cries out "Hector, Hector, Hector...), but if you mean another actor... well I'd say a "not famous movie actor", (he was unlucky about, in order to me...), I mean Lorenzo Lamas. At least he really seems a "cool&hardcore" dude!!!
I have to re-watch Spartacus... don't rem very well it now. 8)
