Planet Terror vs Deathproof
For all those who have seen these two, which one was better? PLANET TERROR for me.

Re: Planet Terror vs Deathproof
Planet Terror was a million times better, IMO. Death Proof sucked except for the final car chase, and I'm a huge Quentin Tarantino fan!Lions wrote: For all those who have seen these two, which one was better? PLANET TERROR for me.
Come on Quentin, your dialogue is amazing, but not when it's a bunch of airheaded teenage girls talking about stupid crap.

I was very dissapointed with Q's film. There were a couple of parts that I liked. Russell's role was ok. The only girl I liked in the whole film was the cheer leader.

I just saw Grindhouse and I loved Death Proof, but actually didn't care for Planet Terror. Tarantino totally captured the feel of all the classic car chase movies like Seven Ups or Bullitt, plus the cars, particularly the Charger, were awsome. As for Planet Terror, I've seen other zombie-comedy movies that I thought were better.

Zombieland, Shaun of the Dead, and Dawn of the Dead in that order, but Planet Terror was probably better than Dawn of the Dead.turnbull gbr wrote:What others did you think were better?
Re: Planet Terror vs Deathproof
I liked Planet Terror overall as a film but liked the dialogue more in Deathproof. I watched Zombieland over the weekend which I thought was a good movie but I still have to say that Shaun of the Dead is still my favourite.
