The Wild Bunch

ImageIf anyone is interested in another cult classic check out Sam Peckinpaw's The Wild Bunch from 1969. There are some strong similarities to The Warriors in that a group of men share a goal and stick together trying to achive it. It was the 1st flick with slo-mo violence and lots of blood packs bursting.

It runs on TV occassionally so check it out before spending $15 on a DVD. It ranks just above The Warriors as my favorite movie.

It is one of the most graphically expressed westerns of its time, and changed the way they pushed the envelope with violence in Westerns, and was basically a movie that changed the way movies of its time were made!!
Hardline story that --but it is classic all the way, and SamP. was a revolutionary movie maker in his time..!! Yes, great movie.
