This is a good point i`ve never thought about before,The Warriors is all set away from the typical dreamlike skyscrapers representing wealth and power instead set below in the dark murky underground of the city,the underbelly!

25th Hour.....love how Spike Lee shows off the city here,i think the first film filmed on the streets after 9/11 so get the eerie atmosphere here.Love this movie!
Manhattan.....Love the way Woody Allen shows off the city in the beggining to the mellow sounds of Gershwin,and in black and white....class.
The Wanderers......Shows the Bronx in the early 60`s to great Rock n Roll music with chases through the city....`Leave the kid alone`
