Hey Jamie, wuz up my brotha? I never seen this. Anymore details about its subject? If it is animal cruelty, than I don't want to watch it. Just a couple of months ago I saw what they do to the poor dogs and cats in China, just to make fur coats, among other things, I wasn't able to stomach what those lousy bastards do to those poor animals. China isn't the only country, down in South America (in the city too), they boil pigs alive to make their hairs soft, just so they can shave them off easier and then they cook it to eat it. I wish I was some animal super hero, just to protect the poor animals. I would call myself: THE POWER PIG!!!!!

I agree with you 100% i can't watch anything with animals suffering. The Chinese deep fry rats and eat them while they still have there hearts beeting
The film is as follows,
It's about a man who goes in search of a film crew who have gone missing in the Amazon. He finds there recordings and gets to see what happened to them. It's a case of they annoy the locals and they get payback big time.
It's the film that inspired the Blair Witch.
From what i have heard it is actual taping of the tribes in the area killing animals and eating them. While i don't agree with this it is the way these people live and have done for 100' of years.
If you can get the cut version without the animal parts of the film it will be a film you will not forget!

Well in that case I rather watch the edited version. The indian and African tribes have their traditions and they don't do it to be cruel to the animals, but rather to eat them to survive or to use it as Godly sacrafice. Unlike people with knowledge who do it to profit from it, now I am completely against that.
How the HELL do you make a sequel to Cannibal holocaust?! It's a seriously messed up movie, there's some stuff yolu just can't "un-see" and this movie is one of them.
Fun fact: The director (who's name escapes me) had to go to court with the actors to prove that the cast members hadn't actually been killed in the movie.
Hey ive seen the original even had it a 1 point, the old colour cardboard box job, been a couple of years now,my college buddy had it last ill try and track it down-it is totally a groundbreaking film and from what i can remember recently I saw a copy of CH 2 in a local video shop...it had a grey front cover with small writing on the side,Obviously this was some small low budget rip off but i thought id just mention that anyway!

Yeah i owned most of the original Video nasties at one stage. It is a cashin the ch2 you spotted. It's released by Vipco.
I haven't seen CH. but I have seen something similar called "Make them die slowly." it was real lame. but on to the subject of a sequel. this is the new millenium where most horror movies are PG-13 of course it will be way watered down from the original
