thediceman wrote:First memorable film for me was PufnStuf but it was so long ago before the birth of VCR's I wasn't able to watch it again and again. It is only recently that they have produced a DVD but I was pleased that it contains not only the film but also all 17 episodes of the tv show :D

Guess the first film that I could watch again and again due to having a video was Porky's and the Warriors.
Is this what you meant...

JAWS

My dad took me and my mate when we were 9 to see this on the big screen.Still get a buzz watching it to this day.And still feel uneasy in the water after all these years!

There were a handful of movies I realy liked as a kid. My favorites were
Image
Kenny & Company
Image
Phantasm
I had a crush on that kid that was in both of these movies, Michael Baldwin.
Image
The Sining
Image
Enter The Dragon
Image
Shaolin Master Killer
I watched these movies alot when I was younger, and still love them today! Other favs are Clockwork Orange, 2001 A Space Odyssey, Full Metal Jacket and The Searchers.

Jaws was definately one of the first movies that made an impression on me as a kid. Especially since I saw it at the theater down at the Jersey shore! Thanks for the nightmares, Dad! :)
