Yes im excited about this movie also. I found these pictures on Photobucket. I was watching trailers of it on youtube tryin' to figure out what in the world that creature was...and thats how I got what you see right there! Some people say its going to be more than one monster.
Im glad the monster doesn't look like crap.

But what about the little ones, the part when the girl is screaming and getting killed by some weird looking monsters, you don't see them but you see the shadows.

But that is a really productive piece of art, it's gonna be an interesting movie.

Actually, it's been revealed that the picture that BB posted is indeed, fan art.

This is the real monster (confirmed by people who have seen advance screenings). I love this design. Even though it looks small, keep in mind that this thing is gigantic- as tall as a skyscraper.

Thats very impressive. I wonder what it'll look like if it in CG. Can't wait to see what those lttle crab things look like.

Well I just got back from seeing it.  Its got the same feeling as the Blair Witch project.  This is what makes this movie so different.  Rather than having another monster movie with an explanation of where the creature came from, and having some G.I. Joe type of soldiers bringing it down, it focuses on real people in real situations.  Thats what made this movie seem scary, was that there was no explanation, and it came from the point of view of confused people not knowing whats going on. A style that should be done more often.

Don't worry, you'll see the monster plenty and clearly, even in broad daylight, don't listen to those idiots on IMDB who claim it's difficult to see. Very intense film though, people may judge Rob for being a wimp and going back for his ex, but keep in mind, he did take his brothers advice about forgetting the world and go for what you cherish the most. The tunnel scene was very creppy, especially when he turns on the nightvision, they're just waiting there staring at them and then attack. It was difficult to see who was getting the worst, I thought Hud was getting killed but didn't appear to have a scratch, even with all of those parasites around him, and then Marlena gets infected from the brief fight with the only one.
The carpet bombing reminded me of Command and Conquer Generals, a fantastic scene none-the-less.
And my favorite, the battle between the monster and the Army before Rob and the gang enter the tunnels, beautiful.

By the way, Lizzy Caplan looks VERY beautiful, haven't seen her since Freaks and Geeks, she looked good then, and looks even better now.

The Tagruato website even has a fake article mentioning this.
My theory is: Tagruato realized they were being spied on by satellite (Japan's satellites, to be exact). So they staged a sabotage, which caused a "piece of satellite to fall to the ocean". This would allow Tagruato to continue their mysterious activities, without any nearby satellites taking notice.
That's my theory about the object falling from the sky. "

Note the flying object when they see the monster leaping, it hits a building and explodes. Couldn't be debris because it exploded on impact, couldn't be the Army (too soon), and the monster doesn't have rockets or missles.

It's evident there's going to be a sequel, pay close attention to the dates and footage, both from the first scene and last as well as the dialogue (Coney Island), you'll also notice something around the Ferris Wheel, a black moving object falling from the sky. I didn't see it, because it was on the right side of the screen, I was paying attention to the view and wasn't aware of it.

And of course, at the end of the credits, "It's still alive!"
Dead give away.


However, I will admit this about IMDB, there are some very interesting theories about certain movies, and very interesting perspectives and insights.

So, I was "googleing" and I saw a "fake" news report about "Chuai Station" explosion. Atlantic Ocean, North American "side".
There's a link about, in every language... and it's a sorta movie advertising.
