Oh yeah, it sorta looked like a trash bag of some sort! I quite liked the guy with the spiked black hair, the yakuza boss's driver (too bad he died so early)!

In no particular order and in no way complete..
Azumi 1 & 2
Enter the fat dragon (sammo hung)
Legend of a fighter
Spirited away (and most of the studio gibli flicks)
Baby cart series
seven samurai
Barefoot kid (basically any kung fu movie made by shaw brothers)
Akira (im not a big fan of anime, but this film stands out among the genre)
once upon a time in high school
Ong bak (tony jaa is the next big star)
Wheels on meals (my fave jackie chan flick)
Brotherhood
Boiling point (i like most of beat takashi's films, but thats my favourite)
Zatoichi series
Fist of fury (i like enter the dragon, but technically its an american film with a large chinese cast)

and not forgetting this guy....
