Whats the longest movie you have ever watched mine would be lord of the rings the return of the king 192 mins really long film whats yours.

Well, I cannot forget it, during "Middle" (between elementary and high, you don't have it in USA) School (2nd year)!!!
We were studying 1st WW, so the teacher said: "... and now let's watch a great historical movie!!!", we were happy!!! OMG... the movie is "Doctor Zhivago", about 1917 Russian events... OMG!!!
A   [glow=red,2,300]N E V E R E N D I N G[/glow] (180+ mins)   movie!!! Good movie, but  ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)... I think you understand what I mean!!! OMG!!! 8)

the longest movie I watched was Stephen King's The Stand I can't remember how long it is exactly but it's like 5 or 6 tapes worth.

Actually, we do have middle school here. It's 7th and 8th grade for us, and then we go into high school.

And yeah, it's roughly 6 hours long, I think. Great movie, too! I want to read the book but it's over 1,000 pages long, so I don't think I'll be doing that anytime soon. 

I would have to say the King Kong remake, which was 187 minutes. I normally can't sit down for that long but I loved it. Although my butt was numb afterwards.

Lord of the Rings extended versions. All three of them are about five hours long 

I forgot about Gone With The Wind, man 'T', I believe that movie lasted about 2 weeks.

The Godfathers aswell all 3 of them are very long movies

Godfather part 1:175 minutes

Godfather part 2:200 minutes

Godfather part 3:170 minutes

you boppers are forgetting the two great Civil War Epics
 
GODS AND GENERALS and GETTYSBURG  (both over four hours!)

but they are both great history learning films about the Civil War and are worth the running time.

in fact, since i can wait till NFL is over (bring on the pitchers and catchers!) so ill skip the lame playoffs and overated Super Bowl  break out the DVDS start with GETTYSBURG..its been a while since ive seen the two Civil War epics...not a bad way to spend a Sunday
