It is more likely if the 3rd film is made, they would probably head in this direction, with either Dark Knight Returns or Hush.  Although none of the characters above (except Robin) are in Dark Knight Returns, they can still add them to the story line.  Anyhow, please choose a character or comment.

Its been in the news this week that agelina jolie wants to play catwoman. At least the costume would cover up her mesy tattoo's.  I just hope it dont get bogged down with some lame love story now that theyve killed off batmans ex.

In todays national newspapers:  Johnny Depp approached to play the Riddler in the next batman film.

Chris Nolan has been quoted as saying he though that the penguin was too outlandish of a character and wanted his series to be more realistic. Which makes no sense when you at the comics considering in the comic R'az azghul is immortal

If Johnny Depp or Angelina Jolie or any mainstream untalented actor comes on the third one, that will be it for me, I would stop being a fan.  I guess that is why I really enjoyed the 2nd part, because you focus on their acting and their charater more than than "movie star" aspect.

Ciao fratello, no I used to like Johnny Depp in the late 80's and early 90's, but ever since he did those lame Pirates films he lost my interest, he became too famous and too mainstream.  It's the same with any actor or director.  Like Jack Nicholson for example, he was great at first, but then he started to make some retarded movies and that just didn't cut it for me.  To me, when the actor or director are barely starting, that's when they are at their best, because no-one knows who they are, but once they become famous, they usually head a different direction.  Once about 12 years ago, I was talking to Peter Hedges who wrote What's Eating Gilbert Grape, and he told me that he was happy to have Johnny Depp and Leonardo DiCaprio play roles in his film because he knew people were going to focus on the story.  Nonetheless, as I saw him a few months ago, I asked the question if he could hire them would he do it; he mentioned he wouldn't because they are too famous and they wouldn't feel the story as they did back then.  I tell you what, now that Adrien Brody's fame has died down, this would a great opportunity for him to play this role.  Or even Nick Stahl.

but personally i would cast another actor on the lower scale of a-list like heath ledger was and give them a chance to shine,i mean look what he has done with the chance!!i know he was a-list but he was not exactly say "johnny depp" i realy hope they give an up n comer a chance to put their stamp on the part!!(if the gonna go with another main stream baddie)

This is what I am talking about.  I didn't know who Cillian Murphy was until I saw Batman Begins.  I had liked Christian Bale because of the past films he had started in.  Same with Heath Ledger.  They are actors, but they are not part of the whole Hollywood crap you see in tabloids or on E!.  When I was shooting my film, people wanted to know if I was using any famous actors, I would say no.  I you want to watch "pop corn" movies then famous actors are your thing.  I shoot movies for smart people with taste.

According to the actor who played him, he asked the director if he will reprise his role in a future batman film, but was told that the 2 face charecter is 100% deceased and will not be returning.
