Bored with the current production line of hollywood movies I have started watching alot of the films I use to watch as a kid from the early 80's. These include films like endgame, bronx warriors, rabid, the brood and other dodgy horror flicks. Guess I had liberal parents as most were 18 cert and I was only watching these when I was 10, may account for how I turned out .
The one I watched this weekend was the extermintor, a classic vigilante thriller set in New York and had a brilliant scene with an industrial mince meater. Anybody else seen this movie???.
Anyway, I sure you guys can suggest some other classics from this period for me to check out.

That's the one, had the gang the Ghetto Ghouls. I have watched/own Bronx Warriors and Bronx Warriors 2 which has dated really badly incomparsion to the Warriors.

Escape From New York
Class Of 1984
Angel
Savage Streets
Vigilante
Vendetta
I've seen Escape from New York so many times I think I know it word for word. I plan on buying the Class of 1984 DVD once it comes down in price. It's currently at the ridiculous price of £15.99, approx $29. Great film but I'm not paying that price. Wasn't Angel about a working girl???, or is that me just and my wishful thinking.
Thanks for the other titles I will have to see if I can get hold of them.
Yes, Angel was about a 15 year old schoolgirl who leads a double life as a hooker by night. When 2 of her hooker friends are killed by a serial killer targeting hookers, she goes on a rampage & starts offing johns.
And Savage Streets has Linda Blair (all grown up since The Exorcist) offing a gang that killed her handicapped sister. (It also features linda in full frontal nudity soaking in a tub )
