Other Gang movies

Besides the Warriors, there are a lot other great movies with the theme 'Street gangs'. My personal choices
*- Colours (1988) with Sean Penn, the movie is settled in LA.
*- Assault on Percent 13 (1976) made by John Carpenter.
*- Under Siege aka Night Warriors (1983)
*- The Wanderers (1983)

The Wanderers came out in 1979 and if you look at the Electric Eliminators jackets they look similar to the Wander's jackets but I find that movie a little corny as their gangs play football instead of rumbling. A great gang movie is Goodfellas even though it doesn't follow the street gang theme. Another great movie is A Bronx Tale. So many great New York movies.

Goodfellas is on Saturday night on TV in Australia. By the way, The Wanderers was a really good movie, but not as good as The Warriors.

all of those are pretty good... but i would have to say the warriors is definately top dog of the gang movie scene...

Yeah I studied The Outsiders at school in year 9. It's an ok film but only has one half-decent fight.

The Outsiders is a great film. I could see them as one of the gangs in the Warriors. They can definatly rumble.

The Greasers.
actually when I think about it something gives me a quite a hint that most of the gangs with just leather jackets kinda are just Greasers.

Swayze what about Rob Lowe. He was kicking ass in the last fight scene. If any outsider should be a Warrior it should be Lowe.

I love Alex's gang in Clockwork Orange. Now they can fight!
