Love Goodfellas, Casino is alright. The whole italian thing gets old after a while. You know they way they dress, talk, and all that other stuff. If I watched it was only 'cause Robert DeNiro was in it.

yeah, Casino is basically the unofficial Goodfellas 2.

And yeah the whole shtick does get old in a two hour 45 min movie.

There are a few asian films about the whole yakuza thing that I've been meaning to check out, maybe it's be a fresh angle at the whole mobster set-up. And by that I mean realistic, not that Ichi the Killer kind of crap. My god that movie was horrible. That movie is the only one I've ever stopped watching halfway through and returned it to the rental store. Ever. Usually I try to trudge through 'em, like with Throwdown or Boondock Saints, but not that one...

Yeah both were great , i still lean towards Goodfellas more but the scene in Casino were Joe Pesci explains to the banker "What it is he does" is just amazing.

Oh man, I love both of these movies. I love the narrative style they use. It's very intense. Robert DeNiro is definitely one of my favourite actors.
