Hey people! Does anyone remember the name of that movie about the two gangs 'The Mau-Mau's' and 'The Priests' (I THINK that's what they're called)? :-k
I've just remembered seeing it at school years ago, in an R.E. lesson (Don't ask me why), now it's buggin' me... I vaguely remember The Mau-Mau's red/orange jackets. Anyone know anything about it?

The Mau Maus are the main gang in: The Cross and the Switchblade
stars a very young Eric Estrada and Pat Boone as the reverend who is trying to get the gangs to stop bopping and find religion.
Eric's character Nicky Cruz did (is a real gang banger in the Mau Maus in the late 50s/very early60s---now is actually a minister in his own right.)
It was actually a pretty good movie, and showed some of the gang situations.

That's the one, Ranchgal! The Cross And The Switchblade... It's all coming back now. How could I forget Nicky Cruz?! That would explain why I saw the film in an R.E. (Religious Education) class. Cheers mate!

The other gang were 'The Bishops', not 'The Priests'. My bad. It was a long time ago!...
