OMG---I have going to find this for a long time, cause I wanted to see Val Kilmer, but I have never heard that MB was anywhere near it---NOW I am going to have to get somewhere and see if I can rent it at least.  GEES maybe it will come on STARZ pretty quick and I can record it myself.    Glad you liked it, I hope I do too! ok..its a very, very small participation, he is not IN the movie, but they show a small part of one of his movies (he looks young, I think its from the 80's) and his name is mentioned
it was kind of a shock..LOL, I wasn't expecting that LOL
But the movie is really funny, very unusual. I think you are gonna like it 

I have been looking for a copy on ebay, but so far they all are from Region 2 or overseas someplace,  I think I read that the US dvd will come out June 13th, so maybe I can find a rental somewhere before then and see if I like it enough to buy.

Saw this last night. Awesome film, not what I was expecting ... and very funny. To top it off, the reference and appearance of Michael Beck!  8)

Just saw this on cable over last weekend.  Very cool film.  The chemistry between Downey Jr. (who is excellent) and Kilmer is great.  The Beck thing was a surprise....and Kilmer mentions Xanadu!

I saw this about a month ago and was whacked when Beck was refered to....I wanted to do a post about it but I wasn't sure whether it was our Beck so I left it alone cause I would have looked like a doosh if I was wrong.  :doubt:

Wow War Chief, thanks....no I guess he just didn't look the same without a massive scrape down the side of his face and a lack of proper 70's hair.   

I remember late last year when this baby came out I started a thread about it and got maybe one reply. Ah well.

Great movie though. My favorite line may just simply be "...but it would only be sleeping Harry. If that doesn't bother you."
