There's gonna be an X4 :?  I thought this was the last one, hence the name THE FINAL STAND.

T7 my brutha, The all out war is gonna be nuts. I'm wondering if it's gonna be a 3 way dance with the X-men vs. Magneto's crew vs. The Sentinels, or if Magneto & the X-men team up at the end. Either way it's gonna be off the hook. Did you see the Sentinel's head rolling down the street in the last trailer?  8)

Good to see that all the bit players from the last 2 movies finally suit up & go to war with the rest of the gang.

I read somewhere that they signed the guy playing Juggernaut for the next 6 movies or something. so maybe the last stand refers to just the last big fight with Magneto?

I've seen X3 and i was very disapointed there wasn't that many fight scenes and angel barely did anything and he's my favorite and beast he fought once it was cool but only once and there was stupid humor thourgh out the movie i'm just gonna stop i give it a 5 out of 10

Ok, I saw this last night & I'll say this - as a straight up action movie featuring superheroes, it was fine. If you have never been interested in the comics & only know of the X-men from the movies or cartoons, you will like it. If you were a longtime fan of the comics, however, you will be dissappointed. I'll give my reasons:

**************************SPOILERS BELOW**********************************

1. The Sentinels - I felt ripped off when I realized that the only appearance of the Sentinels was a 30 second bit that felt like a cheap rip off of the holodeck from Star Trek TNG. The should not have put them in the trailer & mislead the fans if they weren't really in the movie.

2. Angel - What was the point? Other than to showcase more CGI, he has no bearing on the story whatsoever. He's not part of the X-men, doesn't even show up at the school until the very end, and other than swoop in to save his father from the fall off the roof, doesn't do anything.

3. Why the cliffhangers? Everyone from the studio, to the actors, to the director have all said this is the last X-men movie. Wolverine will get a movie that one or two characters might appear in, but that's it for the X-men. Why leave the fates of Prof. X, and Magneto up in the air? They had it wrapped up just fine and these cliffhangers were unneeded.

4. They seemed to just throw characters in just to have them. Like the way the whole Pheonix story was rewritten just so it could fit in the movie. This is why I pray to God they leave Venom the hell out of Spiderman 3. Also, Juggernaught was never a mutant, it was the suit that gave him power. The whole "war of the mutants" seemed to be just to give 2 second cameos to as many characters as possible so the producers could tell all the fanboys "You see, we put ____ in the movie".

The movie was okay.

The thing I never understood was the Nightcrawler thing, ok he's not in the 1st but he's in the 2nd and now he's not in the 3rd. I heard it had something to do with the Halle Barry demanding a bigger part and more lines, and they couldn't afford putting Nightcrawler in it or something along those lines.

And Gambit is yet to make an appearance which I don't understand. I assume it had to do with the Iceman and Rogue relationship, seeing as how Gambit is suppose to be with Rogue.

The whole Juggernaut being in this I was so hyped up about turned out to be dissapointing, he really didn't do anything except beat up Wolverine and run through some walls, and then he knocks himself out. I gotta say Vinnie Jones is a freakin' monster.
But that whole "I'm the Juggernaut bitch" line of threw me off, you'd understand if you saw that stupid cartoon.

Colossus had a somewhat bigger part, but he rarely talked and they showed his fighting scenes for like 2 seconds and went to something else.

No problems with Beast at all, it was perfect.

I didn't have a problem with Cyclops dying, he was such a prick anyways in the prequels.

Charles dies, which is really sad to me because I really liked his character.

There was also a lack of Sentinels.

Maybe the additional scenes after the credits explain this, but if there's a sequel then why is the title of this one "The Last Stand?"
(I didn't wait for the additional scenes because I didn't know about them)
