I didn't find a topic on this in search so sorry if there already is one

I thought this movie was great especially when Creasy goes on his rampage. I haven't seen Domino, but from the previews I saw it looks like Tony Scott tried to go with the same style and from the reviews on the forum and elsewhere it sounds like he over did it. And I like Christopher Walken, but does any oneĀ  else feel that all the characters he's played in different movies in the past 4 or so years just seem like the same character in every film?

I'm still trying to get a hold of the original Man On Fire novel, and I'm not sure but I think I saw somewhere that there's a film that came out in '87 as weell.

Man on Fire uses the same type of camera action as Domino. Really weird multi-coloured. none the less, Man on Fire is a really cool movie.

What I liked most about this movie was Denzel followed up on his role in Training Day with another role that was a departure from his usual "cookie cutter" good guy roles.

While he wasn't completely bad like he was in Training Day, his character did have many personal demons he was battling and it made for a more interesting story.
