Class of 1984 (Like The Warriors?)

Has anyone seen this movie. We saw the DVD in a shop yesterday and picked it up because the cover looked amusing. On the back cover it actually said the movie was a cross between "The Warriors" and "Straw Dogs" (I think). The front cover of the DVD also mimics the Warriors in some way. I can't believe this hasn't been mentioned before (I searched for it!). Amazon also recommends The Warriors to people.

Amazon Link for more info.

Bear with me a minute...  :)

Another Warriors take-off movie I can't believe nobody's mentioned is 'Street Soldiers' (Well, I have mentioned it before, but nobody said owt!)... It's about two gangs called The JP's and The Tigers (). It stars Joel Weiss (Cropsey from the Warriors) as one of the main JP's, and is full of cheesy fight scenes. Someone must have seen this...

Or what about 'Enemy Territory'? The tag line on that movie is: "The most bloodthirsty gang since the Warriors" (The Warriors... bloodthirsty?!)... It stars Tony Todd as the leader of 'The Vampires', a gang that pack heat and run rife in a building block, wreaking havoc on anyone that lives in or visits the place. The storyline is basically about a salesman that visits one of the tenants on the top floor and accidently p!sses off one of the Vampires on the way, resulting in him having to escape down and out of the building, floor by floor, without getting his @ss handed to him.  That's another cheesy one you gotta check out...

I'm not the only one that owns these little golden nuggets am I?  :doubt:

Anyway(!) As for 'Class of 1984'... I've not seen it around, but if it's Warriors enspired I'll hunt it down!

I have since watched this movie and I thought it was pretty good. I'd say it was more a cross between "A Clockwork Orange" and "The Wanderers" than "The Warriors" and "Straw Dogs". Good entertainment and good messages.  :)

No i have Enemy Territory.

I mentioned it also in a previous post but, nobody came back to me.

It's a good film and has Ray Parker Jr from Ghostbusters theme song fame as one of out 2 heroes.
